Vertical platform lifts allow wheelchair users and other people with mobility problems to move from one level of a building to another easily and safely. In homes, they are an economical solution that does away with the need for a long ramp or elevator. Harmar’s RPL Residential Vertical Platform Lift (RPL) is among the best models in its class. It can be installed both indoors and out. With a weather-resistant design, this lift offers safe access to raised entries, porches, and short decks. Like all Harmar lifts, the RPL is simple to install, easy to operate, and virtually maintenance-free.

User-Friendly Vertical Residential Platform Lift

Equipped with user-friendly features, this model comes with a non-skid 36" x 48" solid platform for added safety. The device features a rated load capacity of 600lbs (272 kg) and a lifting height of 4'-6' (53" to 77").

This residential vertical platform lift features a top mounted motor and electrical box to simplify servicing and ensure protection from standing water. A sensitive safety pan at the bottom of the platform immediately stops operation if it encounters an obstruction.

Designed to meet ANSI/ASME A18.1 Performance Safety Standards, the RPL is integrated with several safety features such as safety pan, paddle switch controls with emergency stop button and an electromechanical interlock gate that releases only at landing. With its small footprint, the lift fits renovations more easily. Some of the other features include –

>> Solid 36" high guard panels

>> Manual lowering option

>> Automatic, folding access ramp

>> Standard platform - 36" x 48" w/ 36" high guard panels and automatic folding ramp
