Indian food is the epitome of deliciousness, the food not only is made from the most unique concoctions and blends but also makes for some of the most taste bud tingling varieties. When the Indian food is put on a world map, there may be hardly any delicacies that may compare to the Indian alternatives in style, texture and taste. Turmeric or haldi in the powdered form is a basic necessity not only in solid foods but also in a whole lot of milk concoctions, while the spice is used in food for flavor and the yellow coloring, it also has a whole lot of natural medicinal and healing properties making it an important kitchen spice. Coriander powder is also a powdered spice that is used in almost all food items that are made for regular consumption in the local kitchens, this is a powder that is extremely effective in providing the right taste and smell to the dishes that it is added to.

Garam masala is another kitchen marvel that creates the magic for Indian food dishes, while the powder is not made out of a single spice, it is a mix of carefully calculated and chosen spices that make for a tasty and fragrant masala, the mix is the real representation of spices India that stand for quality, texture taste and uniqueness. Asafetida or hing as it is named locally is a majorly used spice powder that not only adds smell and flavor to the food but also ensures a healthy stomach for those who consume the food. Finally, red chilies in whole or powdered form serve as the showstoppers for any food item, by adding the required amount of spice and flavor to the food.
