If you are browsing an online toy store but still cannot figure out what to give to a child for Christmas, take a look at this list to help you decide. These toys are highly recommended because they are popular with many kids:

  1. Frozen toys – Disney's Frozen is still one of the most popular movies to date, and the hype is still very much alive with newer toys being released. Give your child a set of Frozen Figurines that contains all four beloved characters: Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf. If you want something more functional, go for an Olaf backpack. Dolls of Anna and Elsa are also popular with girls.

  2. LEGO Star Wars – Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens is set to open in theatres in December 2015. Let your kids in on the hype with LEGO Star Wars toys like the Jedi Starfighter & Kamino construction set. It will stimulate their imagination and immerse them in the world in a galaxy far, far away.
  1. LEGO CITY construction set – This is a great present for anyone who likes to build. Consider the Police ATV construction set, which comes with 51 pieces.
  1. Minecraft action figures – Fans of the game Minecraft can create their adventures using the action figures of player’s skins like Steve. You can purchase them in action figure packs, like the Spider Jockey pack, Steve Overworld Survival pack, and the Villager Blacksmith Overworld pack.

  2. Minecraft plush toys – Kids are never too young to be introduced to Minecraft, and if you are a fan of the game yourself, you can consider giving a Baby Ocelot or Baby Mooshroom plush toy to young children. These plush toys are collectibles, too.
  1. Spy gear – Unleash your child's inner detective with a Wild Planet Spy Gear Lie Detector Kit. It is suitable for kid’s ages six and up. The set contains a finger sensor, response tracking paper, and lie detector handbook.
  1. Big Hero 6 Flying Baymax – Your child can create his or her adventures with Baymax and Hiro Hamada with a Deluxe Flying Baymax set. The Baymax figure makes flying sounds, and his wings can spread up to 18 inches. The figure can fire its fist, too.
  1. Alex Toy Colour & Cuddle Washable Doll – This toy can encourage your child's creativity. It comes with four washable markers, which your kid can use to colour the doll.
  1. Skwish activity toy – Manhattan Toy created the 'skwish', which is designed to help toddlers develop their imagination and motor skills. It has high-quality and vibrant beads that are securely attached to the toy but slide easily. The child can squish it, and it will return to its original form.
  1. Transformers, Beast Hunters – Your child can create his or her adventures with Optimus Prime as the toy comes with five spinning cannons and dragon assault mode. The action figure has a light-up windshield and glowing battle lights, too.
