Copywriting is about creativity in words, it’s the form of written art which is enjoyed by those who’re being blessed with a creative mind. Sometimes I wonder is it necessary that the person who has a creative mind or if s/he is an artist, so only they‘re eligible for copywriting as my teacher once said "person can’t become a poet – whether he’s a poet naturally, or not, but he can never learn to become a poet". Is that true? I don’t agree, why? Because poetry is about rhyming couplets, flow in stanza, juxtaposition, and meters, and blank verse etc. right? So do we study in literature, hence can write a poem for instance;

"I want to fly and touch the sky

My heart said sure, Just spread the wings of confidence then

There’s nothing to stop you fly high"

I believe that when a person is involved in any field, so he has to do everything. For instance, if a candidate works in the writing field, so he/she will have to write everything, whether it's a blog, academic task or even a media report. Consistent practice and experience teach everything, that’s what I believe. It has been seen that doctor’s assistant – Nurses – are enlightened of everything how to receive a patient, what to check first, and when to diagnose a problem, etc. Similarly, when a candidate works in a writing field, he/she gradually get a grasp over everything which is assigned to them according to their skills and intellectualism.

Let’s take my example, I always admire copywriting services, but I got the content writing job in the advertising agency where I had to write content for different things like Dunkin donuts, Pizza hut, Dry milk products, and academic services. Coincidentally, I got assigned to write copywriting of these things, I can’t tell in words the height of my excitement as I got trained by my seniors how to write an attractive copy. Would you like to know? OK, let me share those interesting tips which I learned regarding copywriting.

  • The basic foundation of copywriting is, it must be remembered that this skill is how you praise the product so customers get attract towards it. For instance;
  • Round, round, chocolate munchkins, with yummy cream inside – you can’t say no"
  • Morinaga milk- Someone after mother’s own heart"
  • Never use words like "hope", "wish to", or "maybe" as it sounds, that seller he is not sure of his product, how come he’ll convince others. Rather use "it is" and "it can" it sounds more active and shows how confident you’re about your product or services. For example;
  • abc writing service can turn your worry into happiness as it provides best academic help you would’ve ever availed"
  • VOIP is known as the source of connection with your loved ones"
  • Never use the passive voice as it weakens your statement, rather use the active voice to develop an interest in readers when they’ll read the body copy of your product. For instance;
  • We are offering amazing winter deals with 50% discount" instead of "amazing discounts have been offered by our company"

Nor I am an artist, nor a creative person, but after reading these samples what are your views? Consistent practice, training, experience, and time have taught me how to become a good copywriter, and now I have got a complete grasp over this skill as well, so never assume that only one person can do that. Nothing is impossible.
