Bearings are designs that are the alternative applications which require weight and space to carry a given load at a desired speed. It is the most economical way to handle a given level of speed and load capacity. Being the lightest and the smallest in the roller bearing family, Koyo Bearing has various advantages for specific applications.

Various Types of Koyo Bearing:

  • Drawn Cups

These are available in open ends, single or closed-end designs. The outer ring of the bearing is designed in the form of a cup and there is no subsequent machine is performed to build the outer raceway. Offered with one or two integral seals, the other options the bearings provide include a single lubricating hole and matching inner ring.

  • Radial Caged Needle Rollers

These types of rollers are provides steel cage in both inward and outward retention for the needle rollers. These have the maximum cage strength which is consistent with the inherently high load ratings of the bearings. Accuracy in guidance by the needle rollers allows the cage bars for operation at high speeds.

  • Machined Ring

Also known as Heavy Duty bearings, these are provided with a wide range of inch and metric sizes plus an array of design features. You can find needle roller bearings including integral seals, inner rings, side flanges (or separate end washers), oil holes and single or double caged sets (or full complement) of rollers.

  • Track Rollers

These are designed with outer rings of large radial cross section to withstand heavy rolling and shock loads on track-type or cam-controlled equipment. The outer diameters of the outer rings are either profiled or cylindrical. Profiled tracks alleviate uneven bearing loading resulting from deflection, bending or misalignment in mounting. Stud track rollers are offered with or without lip contact seals or with shields. Yoke track rollers are helps in straddle mounting.

  • Thrust Bearings

Thrust needle bearings are offered in a variety of inch or metric sizes but all of these are very small cross sections. These are available with heavier cylindrical rollers or needle rollers for high load-carrying capacity.

  • Combined Bearings

It is availed with a radial bearing (needle roller bearing) and a thrust bearing (ball or roller bearing). Some of these designs are similar to the drawn cups just by adding a thrust bearing component. These bearings can be matched with an optional inner ring or thrust washer as the opposing raceway just like the other Koyo bearings.

Koyo bearings can be operated directly on a machined shaft as per the suitable quality. It can also be operated with the help of a matching inner ring where these requirements cannot be conventionally satisfied. The smallest cross section of all roller bearing types, it offers a huge range of both inch and metric nominal bearings. They are economical and provide great rolling characteristics to resolve many of the issues.
