How is Myntra’s End of Reason Sale Going to Benefit Customers?

Well, Indians have more than one reason to rejoice this monsoon. The pouring rain in many parts of the country may be quenching the thirst of parched souls, but there is something else in the world of Indian fashion that is turning up the heat. Yes, it is the 4th edition of the End of Reason Sale (EORS) by fashion portal Myntra.

Come July 2nd and 3rd, Myntra is all set to woo its existing and many new customers with one of the biggest sales ever in their history. The CEO of Myntra, Ananth Narayanan, has stated in press releases and news reports that this edition of Myntra’s EORS is all set to break all previous records with respect to scale, discounts on offer, number of brands, expected revenue and acquisition of new customers.

What can customers expect from the EORS? Plenty of offers. There are going to be over 2000 brands participating in the sale, and more than 250,000 curated styles will be up for grabs. Some of the new spring collection from certain brands will also be up for grabs, for the first time during the sale. This is one of the unique things about the EORS, as traditionally most companies only put up collections from the previous seasons in the end of season sale. At many retail outlets it is quite frustrating for consumers to stacks and stacks of eye-catching collections not on sale because they are "fresh arrivals".

Another way in which EORS breaks away from the traditional format of the ‘end of season’ sale, which typically lasts around 6-7 weeks is that within a span of just two days, shoppers can avail the best of fashion from the widest catalogue at unheard of prices! Myntra has claimed that during these two days they will reach put to an expected 10 million customers across various towns and cities in India. Narayanan also said that the company is expecting a lot of shoppers from Tier 2 & Tier 3 markets. The EORS also has a great collection of brands to attract a lot of women shoppers.

Since this edition of the EORS is going to be biggest yet for Myntra, the company says a lot of careful planning has gone behind the preparations for the sale. Every department of Myntra has been ramping up its activities to support the sale. Models, warehouse staff, logistics and delivery agents, technology team as well as the top management have put in a lot of efforts to make sure that the shopping experience a smooth one for customers. In a video released by the company, they show how different aspects of online shopping is being taken care of by Myntra staff, especially when the traffic is expected to be as high as 10 million customers.

Customers can avail the benefits of the sale on all three platforms – Myntra app, the desktop site and the mobile site of Myntra. With plenty of options available to them and discounts ranging from 60% to 80%, they sure can look forward to a fashion bonanza this weekend.
