Hijabs are considered as one of the most important part of Islamic clothing since ages and as we move forth in time the viewpoint is still the same. Hijabs are symbol of religious obscurantism and the oppression of women. It is clearly mentioned in —?Sura 33 (Al-Ahzab), ayah 59, Qur’an [

"O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them. That will be better, so that they may be recognized and not harassed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful."

The word hijab applied to both men and women in terms of protecting both their private lives from outsiders and to protect one's own honor.

TRENDS OF HIJABS IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES

Hijab has various different aspects and perspective around the Globe. In most of the countries Hijab is compulsory to be included in part of dressing. While in other countries where all over religious symbols are prohibited to wear in public, Hijab is also included in them.

DIFFERENT COUNTRIES WITH DISCRETE LAWS FOR HIJABS

FRANCE: In 2011 France became the first European nation to ban the face covering in public. This mostly affected the large part of Muslim population and several debates accompanying sharp criticism took place for nearly a year. It was really a great distress for estimated 5 million Muslims in France.

TURKEY: Turkish government has released its decade’s long restriction on wearing headscarf’s in state and institutions. The new rules, which don’t apply to workers in the military or judiciary, came into effect in 2013, after restrictions on hijab were discouraging Muslim women from conservative backgrounds to seek higher education and Government jobs. Eventually gloomy times come to an end and headscarf wearing women finally became full members of the republic.

PAKISTAN: In Pakistan the topic of hijab is extremely controversial. Hijab is continually a topic of debate and has been for years now. There is a balance majority of women who wear niqab that only exposes their eyes, while other considers covering only their head and chest while exposing their face. In Pakistan "The most appropriate dress" is still a topic of debate and will continue to do so in coming years as well.

SAUDI ARABIA: Saudi is one of those countries where covering entire body is very crucial for women in every part of the country. Surveys that were conducted to put some light on this topic revealed its population signifying strong belief in covering entire body paradoxically projecting other belief that women should have right to choose what they wear. Although higher percentage of Saudi Arabia women consider niqab as the most appropriate dress to be worn by Muslim women.

These are just beliefs that some countries strongly adhere. The topic whether which dress should be considered appropriate for Islamic culture is still a debate, but whatsoever is the outcome the most appropriate out of all would be the one that complies with Islamic culture preserving the roots from where it has actually originated. Countries will force and withdraw their laws, but at last it’s on us how we choose to acquire it as modesty lies deep within our souls also not just only clothing.
