Especially for pregnant ladies these bad habits are known to cause delivery complications and ill effects on baby’s growth.

Stress management

Irrespective of your age you may face depression and stress episodes in life. You need to maintain a lifestyle where you take out time to relax and get hold of your perspective. This habit does not require much time but have long lasting benefits for mental health.

Meditation, exercising and relaxation techniques all help in countering stress. A healthy mind also means a healthy body.

Check for breast cancer

Breast cancer is the predominant cause of death among women in America. According to the American Cancer Society recommends monthly self breast examination. If you notice any change in your breast you should report it to your doctor immediately. Women over the age of 40 should be more careful and get yearly mammogram done. This helps in diagnosing breast cancer in its earlier stages when it is still treatable.
