Just before any occasion or festival shows up on your calendar page, you get up and start panicking about the appearance of your home. Because it doesn’t look good to welcome guests, friends, and relatives in a house that is cluttered, congested, unorganized, or in a mess. Buying Diwali Diyas, Holi Gulaals, or Christmas Trees are important for sure but if you don’t have a proper cleanliness of your ambience, these decorative pieces won’t look good. Read on and make your home a perfect one for guests.

  • Pull your furniture to re-arrange your space. This is also mentioned in Vasstu-Shastra that shuffling the furniture once in a month or at least once in every two months is important to retain the positive vibes of your room.
  • How ruthlessly you throw away your old clothes just because the color has faded or you are not liking the design and cut anymore. Don’t you think your house walls can also think the same way? They are standing still in the same color and with same design for so many years. Its big time to add some funky wooden cuts over the cemented wall or paint your home or get a new pattern of painting over the windows. Your ambience would breathe with freshness.
  • Greenery always add a lot of fresh air and positivity in your living space. After cleaning the house bringing in some new plants to be placed on colorful pots would add so much life to your room. Do it once and see the difference yourself.
  • If your drawing space is really large, you can segregate the color sin different segments. Divide your drawing space into three equal halves and paint three different colors. On each segment of colors there should be a focal point that can be highlighted with some other contrasting color and by placing a piece of furniture near it. It would add a layer of interesting mystery to your place.
  • Once you have painted the walls and ceilings, its time for curtains. The door and long window curtains should not be heavy enough. To keep up the interest of your room set up, you have to buy light shades for dark painted walls, and vice-versa. In case you have a textured painting, go for plain curtains or else printed curtains would be fine.

Now this room is ready for the show and therefore light in bright lamps, and go for candles and Diwali Diyas decoration to welcome your friends, relatives and guest with open arms.
