The Forum for Medical Device & Diagnostic Training Professionals

The Life Sciences Trainers & Educators Network (LTEN) launched a dedicated forum for the medical device training professionals five years ago by starting an annual event called Medical Device & Diagnostic Trainers Summit (MD&D Summit).Over 100 medical device training professionals, leaders, and industry partners come together every year to enjoy interactive sessions and peer-based learning, that are focused on most pressing business needs and specific industry challenges.

The MD&D Summit is always designed and curated entirely by the training leaders in the medical device and diagnostics space. The summit planning committee this year includes training leaders from Medtronic, St. Jude Medical, Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Bayer Healthcare, Roche Diagnostics, Spectranetics, B. Braun Medical and ResMed. LTEN fully focuses on getting innovative thought leaders together to discuss the future of medical device training during this two-day executive summit.

The MD&D Summit will be held in Austin, TX on October 18-19, 2016. This year’s line-up of engaging and thought-provoking talks and panel discussions will address customer training, changing field structures, blended and mobile learning, measuring success and updates on the healthcare landscape, User Experience (UX) within learning and adaptive leadership. The keynote speaker, Lt. Gen. Rick Lynch will share stories from the front and insights born from overcoming adversity on both the battlefield and in the boardroom. Lynch reveals impactful leadership principles ranging from earning respect and working effectively with diverse teams to adapting to new technology and laying a foundation of trust built upon integrity.
