HVAC systems

HVAC systems usually comprise of individual units like air conditioners, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, dehumidifiers and humidifiers, and other types of equipment. Each unit has a different role to perform, but when put together they work towards regulating air temperature and freshness inside a building. Almost all modern buildings use mechanical heating and cooling. For heating a building, the heat has to be either generated or pumped from outside to inside. For cooling a building, heat can only be pumped from inside to outside; it cannot be obliterated. Hence, cooling a building simply means moving heat from one place to another.

HVAC companies in UAE dealing with the manufacturing of these systems are dealing with the fabrication of different units which include furnace/air handler, evaporator coil, condenser, ducts, vents, etc. They manufacture their products in accordance with the critical factors in HVAC today like energy efficiency, low maintenance, reliability, and ease of installation.

Heating System:

Furnaces burn fuel to produce heat, and they are commonly used to heat water circulating in pipes in a closed loop. These pipe heats the air, and such a system are called a boiler. Furnaces and boilers can burn wood, natural gas, or any other burnable fuel. To keep the quality of indoor air high, boilers and furnaces, the smoke of the burning fuel must be exhausted to the outside air.

Different types of electrical heaters are also being used for heating, in HVAC systems. Electric resistance heaters are basically big resistors that heat up as electricity passes through them. Baseboard heaters, a different type of heater, use electricity to heat up the air directly. Boilers may also use electricity to heat up water, which in return heats the air directly or a radiant system. Electric heaters are 100% efficient at energy conversion as they have no fumes to expel.

Apart from electricity, solar thermal water heaters have also been designed to produce heat for HVAC. As sunlight is free of cost and plenteously available, the efficiency of these heaters does not affect performance as much as the cost and size of the system. They are most suitable for places that have a cold but sunny climate.

Heat Moving Systems:

Heat pumps transfer heat from one place to another. Since heat pumps function to move heat and not to generate it, it can be assumed that they are over 100% efficient. Heat pumps have the capability of moving two to five times heat energy as they use electricity in heating mode.

Pumps can pump heat into the building or out of the building. Some pumps can perform both these functions, thus providing both heating and cooling. An air conditioner or chiller is a type of heat pump that only pumps heat out of a building. They are usually more efficient than heat pumps that can pump heat either way.

Leading HVAC contracting companies in UAE are serving commercial and industrial customers both large and small. They focus on providing excellent service to supply their consumers with the superior quality design and setting up of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. They deal with the best manufacturers of different units to deliver the highest quality product within specifications.
