You cannot compare anything to the traditional sauna where the wood burning stove is installed to heat up the sauna and it is located alongside a cold water lake or deep snow. If your home is situated in an urban area and you will not have the enough space to build a traditional sauna in your home’s backyard. The prices of buying silly environmental and firewood system that prevent the use of wood burning heaters are only a few reasons for not enjoying the experience of a traditional sauna.

New and best sauna heater such as infrared makes it possible to enjoy the various benefits that a traditional sauna offers. Many sauna manufacturing companies now construct saunas that are able to easily install at every location that has access to electricity. Infrared sauna heaters produce the same radiant heat as a wood burning stove without all the mess of burning and cutting wood. Typically infrared radiant heat is very similar to the heat that the sun is produced without any harmful effects of ultraviolet rays.

Infrared sauna heaters are available in basically two types that are the carbon fiber and ceramic. Ceramic infrared heaters have the capability to efficiently produce far infrared heat energy in the form of electromagnetic waves. These heaters are the most common type of infrared heaters that are available on the market. Ceramic heaters are able to work long-lasting but are also more fragile. This can be a serious issue if you decide to move your sauna from one location to another location. Carbon fiber infrared sauna heaters are rarely used and are usually found in the best-infrared saunas. Carbon fiber infrared sauna heaters are weighing less, thinner and are less fragile as compared to ceramic infrared sauna heaters.

The surface of a ceramic sauna heater may go over 350F degrees to heat the sauna at 140F degrees of temperature while a carbon fiber infrared heater will only have a surface of 150F degrees temperature to get the same temperature for saunas and steam room. The sauna manufacturers will tell you that shape and size of the best sauna heater is more important than the type of infrared sauna heater. Flat sheets will able to provide the more effective heat and offer a best radiant heat feels than other designs of the sauna heaters.

According to some sauna experts that since you are producing infrared radiant heat from carbon fiber you will get and feel more heat because our body is also made of carbon.
