Children and Family, They Need Us for finding Happiness in Life

It is a sad reflection on society these days, so please explain how can we look in the mirror knowing that children are not cared for? They are the precious gift of our future and so many are pushed to one side and left behind. Why? Because we are too busy or we can make several excuses about being too busy! We need to invest in children because they are the future of Humanity and they need us. And in doing so we move a step closer to answer to how to have a happy family.

How real busy are we that so many of us cannot take time for children? Whether they are our own or not we owe them the hand of friendship. Yes, it is difficult today with what a few have done to harm the special bonds and taken advantage of their innocent.

But it is no excuse for us to stop being there for them to guide them, set the base for how to have a happy family and answer their questions. And yes we have to be careful but being careful does not mean that you say no to them.

They are our future and if we look at how so many Indigenous people relate to their children we see a society where everyone is there for all the children and the family then takes the love and care to another level altogether.

Step back from the arrogance that we have taken on board from many European roots about this need in society today.

A balanced approach needs to be adopted so why not take a look at who we are and what we have to offer. What have you to lose?

Our future is not in the assets that we amass other than our children and their children’s children.

Our future is passing on our genes, the most valuable asset that we actually have and one that we share with every other species on the planet. And embraced within all of this is the knowledge that we acquire along the way. It is important that this knowledge is passed on as well.

More than that, our children deserve all of the love and attention that we can give them in a time when our lives are becoming increasingly time deprived because of our work commitments. Take a moment to remember and reflect on what your childhood was like and how you spent your time. Whether you wanted more time with your parents or siblings or friends and try to place yourself in the position that children find themselves today.

And as we give them the love and time that they need just relax and see how easy it is then to begin to enjoy a better life, actually a Gr8Life through their smiles and laughter!

And remember we are all someone’s children at some point in time.
