WBJEE Admit cards released!

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board has released the admit card for the exam on 10 April 2017. WBJEE Exam is scheduled to be held on April 23, 2017. It clashes with the NDA & NA exam which is scheduled on the same date.

The following are the steps to download WBJEE Admit card:

  1. Login to the official website of WBJEE.
  2. Click on the link " Download Admit Card 2017".
  3. You can enter your application details, password and security details to sign in.
  4. Download the admit card and keep a printout handy.

The important dates related to WBJEE are as follows:

Date of examination: 23/04/2017

Paper 1 (Maths) 11- 1 am

Paper 2( Physics& Chemistry) 2-4 pm

WBJEE results declared on 05/06/2017

Once the admit card is downloaded candidates can check the details with regards to their category, gender, Father's name and other details as mentioned on the admit card.

The format of the examination is as follows:

Physics - 40 questions with 30 carrying 1 mark and 10 carrying 2 marks each.

Chemistry- 40 questions with 30 carrying 1 mark and 10 carrying 2 marks each

Maths- 75 questions with 50 carrying 1 mark and 25 carrying 2 marks each.

The question paper would be having objective questions with four options for every question.

The question paper would be designed in the OMR pattern.

The application deadline was fixed on 4th February 2017. The application fee for the exam was INR 500+ bank service charges.

For Engineering and technology subjects - Candidates should have passed 10+2 from any Board individually passing in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

For Architecture courses - Students must have passed 10+2 individually passing in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English.

The results of WBJEE Exam would be published on 5th June 2017. The candidates would be able to use the score to determine their admission in their preferred institutions.

Candidates would be invited for the counseling procedure as per the ranks that they have secured.

Counseling schedule would be published in the official website of the authority. Seats would be allotted to students on various factors such as rank, choices and availability of seats in various colleges.
