Windows 7 was the last operating system before Windows 10 which became popular. Technically, there were two other operating systems which came in between, namely Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. However, these two versions fail to gain popularity because of multiple reasons. Firstly Windows 8 or 8.1 failed to offer anything substantially different better than Windows 7 and secondly Windows 8 or 8.1 failed to choose a whether to be an operating system for the PC or the smartphone market.

Overcoming is these shortcomings came Windows 10 which became instantly popular because not only it was meant for the PC and the mobile market simultaneously worth it office what the customers were looking for. Firstly there was a faster computational environment and secondly the security with Windows 10 offered was amazingly better than windows 7. So basically Windows 10 is the perfect successor of Windows 7.

Windows 7 was a great operating system but with growing time, the OS became outdated. In fact, even the special prolonged support ended for the OS recently. Thus, the users of Windows 7 are completely vulnerable to newer threats now because the OS will not receive any update against the newer threats. The operating system will also not receive any security patches because there is no official support available. Microsoft is strongly urging the users for Windows 7 to 10 migration.

However, migration to Windows 10 is not as easy for the enterprise users as it is for the personal users. Enterprise users need to take care of several things while the maximum a personal user might do is to take a backup of his files in an external hard drive. Enterprises, on the contrary, need to ensure that their daily operation is not interrupted as not only that can interrupt the revenue flow but also make create a huge number of dissatisfied users. Secondly, they also need to know that their internal software and applications work perfectly in the new operating system. They need to know that all of their database are safe, and backing up these data is far more difficult than taking back up of personal computers, and can be carried forward and utilised ion the new operating environment.

Looking at the complexity of the task, only a professional agency can perform the job. They will ensure backward compatibility of proprietary applications and keep the database safe as well.
