Developing nations like India need the sources of development from its own citizens. Development based on infrastructure and the economic status of the country can only help increase the GDP rate. However, some parts of the country will still lack the developmental progress, as people will not understand the process of the development that has been taking place for many decades in the country. What I want to hit from this is, educational development has not been at a higher rate all over the country. Since independence, many nongovernmental organisations have formed up all over the country trying to infuse the importance of education in the society.

Governmental projects have mainly meant for the infrastructural progress of the country. Educational development to a certain extent has been implemented by governmental organisations. However, the nongovernmental organisations have been working for decades to provide the best service for the deprived and underprivileged people of the rural parts of India. They have organised plenty of programmes and movements to invite citizens to take part actively in the process for the development. It has been one of the major aspects of the developmental process for the NGOs to understand that not only education to a certain level of literacy is important but also along with it, there must be developmental education for the underprivileged children, which can in time, produce quality output for the benefit of the nation as a whole.

NGOs can provide financial assistance to children who have to dropout because of lack of money. They can also provide free education at their own expenses.
Then there are children who don’t go to school because of inaccessibility. NGOs can reach out to these kids and teach them at their homes.
Thirdly, another major reason why girls have to dropout of school at adolescence is due to the lack of proper sanitation facilities for them at government schools. This issue can be taken care of by NGOs.
Fourthly, they can also assist in the higher education for them, because in a country like India, education is not sufficient to earn a livelihood. Skills are the most important. Therefore, they should work towards imparting skill-based education.
Another thing that needs to be focused on is awareness. Awareness regarding health, diseases, medicine, sanitation, hygiene etc. is very important while educating children.

Along with proper education for developing skills and quality of a human being, it is also important that the healthcare and the hygiene education should be a part of the process to make the developmental education for the underprivileged children complete.
