If you’re looking for a new city to christen with your next big night out, then Zadar should be at the top of your list. This Croatian city offers everything you and the boys need for a top night out. From lounge bars to techno clubs, let me show you what Zadar has to offer...

The Garden

Time Out dubbed it as "one of the most important things to happen in Zadar" – but you’ve got to see it for yourself. This is the kind of bar you won’t find in the UK (although it is owned by British reggae band UB40)! The Garden is THE place to catch some of the best music in the country with live DJs outside all night long, playing anything from dub to downtempo electro with a state of the art sound system. Kick back with a few cold ones and enjoy the vibes for the perfect way to start your night off.

Podroom

Translating to "basement" in English, Podroom is an exclusive, weekend-only type of place. But it is definitely the kind of place you want to be. With a wide range of DJs, private booths and a VIP section, you’ll be partying with the right kind of crowd – don’t miss out.

Arsenal

Not the football team – but it’s on par when it comes to greatness. Arsenal is located in an 18th century renovated warehouse and its huge size makes for an equally massive party. The sound and the atmosphere are unreal. Make sure you check out what’s on before you go as the space is used for a variety of events, from world music to name DJs.

Factory Bar

If you want a big night of techno, this is the place to go. Friday night is definitely the busiest, but Factory Bar is right next to the University so it gets a good crowd all week. It also has cheap drinks, so it’s a good place to up the ante of your night out.

Q Bar

Q will keep you busy all week, with new music every night (always something you can dance to)! Open until 6am, Q will be a real test for your stamina, and you can safely put this as one of your last stops before you start heading for a kebab.
