In this fast-paced, 24-hour/7-days a week world we live in, most of us are stretched thin to also attend to fulfilling private and professional commitments. Therefore, the majority of us tend to ignore our health. This ignorance can give rise to many physical, mental, and emotional issues.

Have you ever struck a point where through the stress and discomfort of daily like you hear the vague sound, ringing, humming, or clicking sound without the surroundings to explain it? These are genuine symptoms of a condition known as Tinnitus. The sound might be uproarious or delicate, low pitched or shrill and stem from both ears or just one ear. The greater part of the general population does not realize that these sounds are tinnitus and, while it can’t be cured, it can be alleviated with the right treatment. Really, it is a problem that can be a consequence of fundamental causes. In some people, it may even lead to depression, uneasiness, and meddles with everyday life and activities.

There are four types of tinnitus that are explained below:

  1. Subjective tinnitus
  2. Objective tinnitus
  3. Muscle Tinnitus
  4. Neurological Tinnitus

Subjective tinnitus- this type of tinnitus is widespread. It can be only heard by an individual who is suffering from it. It is usually caused by the exposure to loud noise. There is no certainty in the symptoms as it will appear and disappear suddenly, or may last 3-12 months at a time. In some adverse cases, it may never stop.

Objective tinnitus- this is a rare type of tinnitus that can be triggered by involuntary muscle contractions or vascular deformities. When the cause is treated it can stop entirely. This is the only type of the tinnitus that can be heard by the outside observer. Only this type of tinnitus can be fixed permanently.

Neurological tinnitus- generally, it is caused by the Meniere disorder that disturbs the functionality of brain’s auditory processes.

Somatic tinnitus- is linked with the sensory system.

How can tinnitus be resolved entirely? The solution to this problem can be quite daunting because tinnitus is generally accepted as incurable. But, relief can be found with the help of a quality tinnitus remedy, and treating those symptoms can help resolve ancillary problems such as associated mood disorders or ability to function in day-to-day life.
