Round 1 of Admission:

The first round of admission to the institute consists of candidates taking the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). This is an objective test that is held across a variety of Indian cities each year on the first Saturday of May. Candidates who have the highest SET scores get shortlisted for the second round of admissions.

Round 2 of Admission:

The shortlisted candidates from the first round of the admission process are further required to prove their knowledge and skills in the second round of the admission process. This round requires that the candidates be present for around 3-4 hours at the exam center. The round consists of a writing ability test, a document verification procedure along with mandatory participation in a studio test. This is followed by a detailed personal interaction session with the candidate. The second round of admission consists of a guided tour of the campus during which candidates are given a quick peek at the institution and its expansive infrastructure.

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for this course, the candidates are required to have completed their 10+2 education or equivalent from a recognized institute. Alternatively, they can apply if they have completed a 10+3 diploma that has been approved by the State Board of Technical Education in any discipline, with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) aggregate marks or equivalent grades. One can also be eligible for admission to the course if they are still expecting their 12th results - however they are required to furnish a valid proof of having secured the required percentage for eligibility, in the second round of their admission process.
