CHECKLIST FOR Tourist Visa – Costa Rica

Passport: Original passport with minimum 6 months validity from the time of travel and minimum 2 empty pages for visa and copy of the first and all the used pages of the passport.

Visa Application Form: Fully completed and signed by the applicant. (empty/blank fields may be cause for invalid application).

Photographs: 2 latest passport type 35mm x 45mm sized colour photos with white background.|

Covering Letter: A letter from the Applicant, explaining the purpose of visit, full name, nationality, passport number, type and validity, address, expected time of stay in Costa Rica, approximate dates of arrival and departure and expected ports of entry and exit, occupation, address in Costa Rica, date and place of birth, fax or email address for notifications, date and signature.

Employment Letter (Original): from the company in India with clear company details, applicant details, from how long he/she is working, a period of leave approved with Manager/HR seal & signature. and assurance applicant will back to work immediately after this trip.

ITR: Income tax returns for the last three years.

Ticket Itinerary (Both way flight tickets): Copy of return flight tickets with applicant name. If applying in a group, please highlight applicant name (maximum 30 days between arrival and departure of Costa Rica).

Police Clearance certificate

Proof of Accommodation: Copy of hotel booking with applicant name or a letter from the host with host's ID/passport copy.

Proof of Sufficient Funds: Latest applicant's original bank statement with sign and seal of the bank on every page or a sponsorship letter from the financial sponsor with sponsor's bank statement and ID/passport copy.

Letter of the employing company and salary slips (the letter must include net and gross salary, years of service and position in the company).

Proof of financial support, savings must be more than $2000.

Important Notes:
