  2. Baking Soda + Lemon Juice + White Vinegar - Create a paste using these three ingredients and brush your teeth using this paste at least twice a week.
  3. Baking Soda + Hydrogen Peroxide - create a mouthwash using these two ingredients. Simply mix one tablespoon of baking soda and one and a half teaspoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Dilute the mixture further with a cup of water. Use this mouthwash twice a day. three times a week.

Hydrogen Peroxide and Water Mouthwash

You can create a simple mouthwash that can help whiten your teeth using hydrogen peroxide and water. All you have to do is mix both ingredients in equal parts and gargle the mixture once a day, three times a week.

Hydrogen peroxide can be harsh to your tooth enamel and gums. So do not use this remedy more than three times a week.

Orange Peel

Do not throw away your orange peels as you can use them to naturally whiten your teeth. All you have to do is wash the orange peel first with water. Afterwards, rub the peel onto your teeth everyday.

The acidic nature of this fruit will help whiten your teeth and the vitamin C content of the orange peel will also effectively fight the microorganisms found in your gums.

Here are two different ways to use it.

  1. Rub orange peel onto your teeth and rinse after application. Make sure to do this before bedtime.
  2. Orange peel powder can also be used as an alternative and your can can buy this in any pharmacy.

Cut Back On Dark Drinks

Drinks like Pepsi (dark sodas), wine, tea and coffee can badly stain your teeth. Cutting back on your consumption of these drinks will help your teeth stay white for longer periods of time.

Always Gargle With Water

It is impossible to brush your teeth every time you eat or drink something that can stain your teeth. However, you can gargle with water to help wash away the stains that can possibly deposit onto your teeth. Rinsing your mouth with water also neutralizes other chemicals that can lead to gum problems and cavities.

Use Drinking Straws

Coffee, tea, and sodas are beverages that can badly stain your teeth. If you cannot stay away from these drinks, try to use drinking straws so that the liquid does not touch your teeth.

Stop Smoking
