It’s easily reached from airports like Geneva or Chambery (the cheap flight situation might vary from one destination airport to another), and you can also get there by a combination of train and road from several main Swiss or French cities. It’s also probably fair to say that Morzine, over the years, has created a family-friendly culture. This means, unlike some ski resorts elsewhere, you’re not likely to need to take out a second mortgage to have a great quality holiday there.

The overarching attraction of this delightful destination is that it sets out to provide something for almost everybody, and, on the whole, it does that very well.
