Call it the 'Sin City' or the 'Entertainment Capital of the World', Las Vegas never fails to entertain its visitors. This exciting city located in the Nevada state of the United States of America is globally renowned for its lavish offerings in entertainment, gambling, shopping, and nightlife. You'll be spoilt for choice in this city when it comes to big-budget stage shows and world-class fine dining experiences. While getting around in Las Vegas, you'll get a taste of its extravagant offerings in entertainment in the form of some magnificent luxury hotels, which have been built on varying themes.

The weather in this part of the United States can get quite chilly during the winter months from December to February. However, this doesn't stop tourists from visiting the city. The number of visitors surges during the Christmas and New Year celebrations and you'll have to book your Las Vegas holidays well in advance if you wish to visit this city during this time of the year. Spring arrives here in the month of March and continues until May. This season is characterised by comfortable daytime temperatures, making it the best time to visit Las Vegas. You can also expect some good deals on hotel accommodations in the spring months as this is considered to be a low season.

From the month of June to August, the city experiences its scorching summer. Even the hot climate doesn't deter tourists from enjoying their Las Vegas holidays during summers. You’ll have to let go of the possibility of getting attractive deals on hotel stays in this season. When autumn arrives in September, the summer temperatures begin to fall gradually and so does the tourist traffic. The visitor numbers begin to rise as the season nears its end in late November. If you're planning to visit the city in late November, it is advisable to book your hotel stay a few weeks in advance.

While enjoying your Las Vegas holidays, you'll certainly get to explore 'The Strip', which is a long stretch of 2.5 miles running through the city. It is lined with massive entertainment complexes with each having its own theme. The Strip is at its attractive best after sunset, when the entire city is illuminated by amazing neon signs. You can also have a wonderful experience while walking the Fremont Street. This part of Las Vegas is only for the pedestrians and is covered with a huge canopy of lights that brighten up the space above you in numerous colours and varying designs.

You'll enjoy the fabulous aerial views of The Strip when you're taken high above the ground by the High Roller Ferris Wheel. This massive Ferris wheel takes about 30 minutes to complete one rotation and its capsules can take you to a height of 550 feet. The Mob Museum is one of the city's attractions you can't afford to miss. Officially called the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, this museum is truly unique and gives its visitors an insight into the history of organised crimes in the United States through some interactive displays and video clips.
