Advantages Of Choosing a 3D Trophy

The advent of 3D printing technology as a global, mass-marketed, mass-produced and affordable product has had a significant impact in certain sectors of everyday life. A number of things that previously took a considerable amount of time became possible almost instantly, even as the field itself progressed to new and exciting heights.

Take the making of a 3D trophy, for instance. A scant few years ago, such an item would have had to be manufactured by hand, out of physical materials, and potentially over the course of a day or more. This advanced kind of printing, however, reduces the entire process to only a few hours (or even less, depending on how far ahead the design process is at the time of printing) and makes it accessible and affordable for anyone.

Advantages of technology

Furthermore, there are a number of distinct advantages to a printed 3D trophy over one manufactured in the classic fashion. The first of these has, of course, to do with versatility. With classically manufactured trophies – and other items – the customer is bound to the initial design, at the risk of having to go through a long process and spend even more time before the order is done. Additive manufacturing offers no such issue, as the designs can be easily tweaked with the relevant software, and even discarded designs will not take more than a few minutes out of anyone's day.

Another advantage of having your 3D trophy printed rather than manufactured has been extensively detailed above – time. While most customers prefer to place this type of order in advance to avoid disappointment – especially if it is a particularly large order – those who for some reason cannot do it until the last minute will not have to alter any plans due to this. Instead, they will be able to have their order in their hands in a relatively short amount of time, especially if the design has been previously agreed on.

Yet another positive aspect of having a 3D trophy printed digitally rather than made the traditional way is price. Since you are not paying for materials, only labour, ordering these trophies or cups can actually turn out cheaper than having them done classically, especially if you are planning on ordering a larger amount. Some printers will be happy to give you a discount for bulk lots, even further widening the gap between digitally printed and classically manufactured trophies.

It is clear, then, that there are a number of perks to using this advanced and exciting printing technology rather than the traditional manner.
