That just-rolled-out-of-bed look: Jessica Biel heads to a studio in LA in a striped purple nightgown-inspired dress

Jessica Biel sure has gotten more casual since tying the knot with Justin Timberlake nearly two years ago.

The 32-year-old star stepped out in a rather frumpy number on Tuesday while visiting a studio in Los Angeles.

The long striped purple frock with buttons down the full length of it resembled a nightgown.

Jessica did her best at making the dress look less like a nightie as she rolled up the sleeves and undid some of the fasteners.

By undoing many of the buttons at the bottom of the purple garment, the actress showed off her toned legs. White sneakers did little to glam up the look.

She accessorised the look with a pair of aviator sunglasses and a large, white leather purse draped over her shoulder.

The actress wore her long ombre locks down flowing over her shoulders on the outing as she had natural, complementary make-up on her face.

Jessica has plenty of reasons for feeling tired at the moment as she has completed work on two films and has another two currently in pre-production.

One of the star's upcoming films currently in post-production is the Diane Bell directed flick: Shiva And May.

The drama centres around a yoga instructor who looks to protect her sex-worker sister from a deadbeat boyfriend.

Shiva And May also stars Girl's star Zosia Mamet and is due for release later this year.

Paris is the city of romance, not the least for bachelor Bernard.

Who's he? Bernard is playwright Marc Camoletti's bad-boy creation at the center of Broadway Palm's summer comedy "Boeing Boeing," a French sex farce that serves up a bachelor, a maid, three gorgeous air hostesses and one tiny apartment with lots of slamming doors.

"It's three airline stewardesses in three days," as longtime Broadway Palm costume designer Jim Conti described the show.

Conti has been in and out of rehearsals, but he says watching the reactions to the comedy — the show is filled with double entendres and the outrageous humor typically found in a farce — "is the most fun part."

"As soon as the girls walk on stage, the audience reacts," Conti said.

Bernard has everything he needs for love: a tidy flat near Orly Airport, a troika of fiancées and, most importantly, an airline timetable. Thanks to TWA, Alitalia and Lufthansa, the Parisian playboy tells us, he has an international harem on the boil at all times. The show's over-the-top dialogue includes the line "one taking off, one landing and one already airborne!"

Turbulence hits with flight delays and the arrival of Bernard's old school friend from America. Add a storm over the North Atlantic. Suddenly, gorgeously guttural Gretchen (Lufthansa), glamorous and graceful Gabrielle (Alitalia) and girlishly giddy Gloria (TWA) are stacked up in separate bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen like planes on the tarmac during a bad-weather ground hold. A desperate but glib Bernard resorts to telling increasingly outrageous lies to keep the girls from discovering his scheme.

Conti, 59, joined the Broadway Palm team around 2000. His background is in costume design, but he loves the opportunity to sift through stores that his job affords him.

"If I quit this job I'd probably be a compulsive shopper," Conti said, laughing.

One item he couldn't find: The vintage airline carry-on bags toted by each air hostess. Conti resorted to hand-building the pieces, using a sewing pattern and matching the fabrics to the colors he planned to use in each of the airline's signature period uniforms.
