About Pooja Bohra

There are few people in the world that can claim to have done what they believe in. More so, fewer women can say this sincerely. Ms. Pooja Bohra is a woman of substance and has overcome the barriers of societal prejudices particularly against women. She has inspired both men and women by challenging traditional thinking in the professional world.

Pooja was born in Nainital and completed her early education at the School of Nainital. She is an English Honors graduate from Delhi University.

Pooja has a natural flair for leadership in marketing and sales emanating from a farming and legal background. Pooja commenced her career at a language institute. After a short stint there, she moved to Delhi and joined a real estate firm. Her contributions resulted in an increase in business and success for the firm.

Despite venturing into unknown territory, her hard work and determination led her to establish an event management company known as LH Media Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. in Noida. This was her first business venture.

Pooja has always prided herself in providing quality services to her customers. In her own words: "Everyone solves problems differently and each has his own way of thinking. As an event organizer, the way we think stimulates how we organize and how we provide our clients with the solution. In this creative industry it’s important to master versatility and a broad vision".

Her love for humanity made her indulge in social activism. She has worked for underprivileged children in her youth. Pooja formed the SOUL NGO (Society of Universe Lovers) with like-minded individuals in order to increase the scope of her outreach. She welcomes all universe lovers to get involved with SOUL NGO and donate what they can.

Despite the demanding schedule, she has the skills, vision and appetite to coordinate the activities between her business, NGO and real estate consultancy services.

Pooja Bohra is a recipient of the Women’s Philanthropist Award, 2013. Her entrepreneurial skills are displayed in the ability to take up diverse roles as a real estate consultant, philanthropist and event manager.

Her life describes the journey of a young and intelligent individual that ventured into hitherto uncharted territory by a woman. She is a living example of the snowballing effect of the ‘she-economy’ in India and beyond.
