The majority of cancer patients and their loved ones will literally research all avenues for treatments, herbs and other solutions to combat the disease and the associated pain. Billions of dollars have been spent researching this traumatizing illness that has taken countless lives. The results of which are an extensive compilation of ways to fight the long cancer battle that can help patients feel better and take back control of their lives. Doctors will often prescribe pharmaceutical medications to help patients manage pain, but many patients loathe the fatigue and dizziness associated with these pills when combined with the cancer treatment. Fortunately, many researchers have found more natural ways for these patients to handle the aches that stem from the illness. Researchers are still trying to determine the correct balance of certain herbs, and how they can affect the patient. Be certain to talk with your doctor before trying anything at home to avoid any possible side effects or complications that may arise in conjunction with your cancer treatment medications. Cancer and its treatments wreak havoc on the body, but relief can be found with the right combination of treatments and at-home care.

Weak Immune System

What is eaten affects the entire body. Some foods help to increase energy, while others can boost the immune system. Your immune system is designed to fight illnesses and protect your body. When cancer enters the body, it can completely destroy your body’s ability to fight sickness. Radiation and chemotherapy also affect the immune system. Discovering the right combination of herbs and food can help the body to heal faster and combat illness, even cancer. There are even probiotics treatments like 4Life Transfer Factor that can boost fatty acids to promote healthy immune systems.

Anxiety

One of the biggest complaints of cancer patients is an increase in their anxiety levels. Some find themselves experiencing debilitating panic attacks, while others can’t seem to calm their thoughts to rest. The medications often prescribed by doctors for anxiety can add to the fatigue and other negative symptoms facing cancer patients. There are many natural methods that are wholly safe for these patients. Yoga can help patients to re-center their thoughts, while relaxing the entire body. Many of these classes call for silence and meditation at the end of the class, which allows for a complete sense of rest at the end. Others find hypnosis to help eradicate negative thoughts, while a weekly massage can help patients to deal with pain as they focus on relaxation.

Anemia

Cancer treatments can damage the cells that produce blood in your bone marrow and reduce red blood cell counts; these are designed to bring oxygen to every inch of your body. When this count is lessened, patients find they are anemic. Anemia causes fatigue, amongst other uncomfortable symptoms. To combat the condition at home, take short rests throughout the day to keep up your energy. Don’t take long naps, which will affect your ability to sleep at night. Keep active with mild exercises, such as taking a walk around your neighborhood each afternoon. This activity should be well-balanced with rest in between. Use those sudden bursts of energy for important items on your to-do list. Drink plenty of what and herbal teas, as those who become dehydrated feel more tired throughout the day. Make sure to discuss a medicinal treatment plan for your anemia, as well.
