The world has made rapid strides on the industrial front since the time of the Industrial Revolution. The objective of the Industrial Revolution was to reduce the dependence on human labor. The IIoT concept would have myriad uses. You can keep on churning example after example. However, the main objective of the machines working under this concept would be to save time and human labor. The level of accuracy of data also plays a great role in it. One of the best examples of the uses of the internet of things would be the working of a Bank ATM. The customer has to swipe a card with a magnetic strip. The ATM machine reads the data and asks for the confirmation from the customer regarding the genuineness of the transaction. On providing the same, it corresponds with the bank server to check the authenticity. On confirmation, it proceeds further by asking the customer to key in his request. The ATM machine is in contact with the bank all the time for checking the available funds in the account etc. Subsequently, it makes the payment by authorizing the bank to debit the customer’s account. This might be a simple example of the internet of things. You can find many complex examples as well.
