The craze for startups has increased suddenly in a few years among the new techies. Technology has made it very easy to have an exponential growth with any startup. The resources are also readily available, thanks to cloud computing. But some facts tell a different story. Many startups get closed within few months of commencement. One of the main reason behind the failure of any startup is the availability of support which can drive a person towards the right direction. In India, maximum startups are technology oriented and are tech based. The students from different eminent engineering institutions are stepping into the market with their startups.

Right Support and Environment:

The first brick of any startup is laid in the college time of the student itself. At that time the educational institution in which the student is studying can play a pivotal role in building that startup. Institutions like Bhu has one of the best startup incubators in whole India. IIT-Bhu helps their students in their startups by investing into it. The investment mark goes upto10 lakhs.

The Incubator:

A non-profit society at Bhu which is commonly called as Malviya Centre for Innovation, Incubation, and Entrepreneurship (MCIIE) is the driving force behind the successful startups of IIT-bhu students. By the help of these incubators, the students get an entrepreneurial environment, immediate networking, commercial opportunities with other firms and the direct link to entrepreneurs.

Startup Programmes:

MCIIE conducts training and awareness programs in Entrepreneurship. It also organizes competitive events, workshops, and lectures on B plan competitions, skill development and soft skill development. In February 2107 IIT-Bhu had organized a startup fair Technex in which different events like an elevator pitch, Networking meet, workshops, guest lectures and panel discussions happened.

Real Time Operations:

The support and environment that students experience at IIT-Bhu made them experiment the theoretical knowledge they receive from lectures. Nothing can be better for an engineering student than to practice the real time operations of the knowledge he has gained and by which employment opportunities are being generated.

IIT-Bhu aims at introducing innovators by providing the best resources, investment opportunities and mentorship. The engineering aspirant should explore more about it to know more about the stupendous area of opportunity for novel business innovation.
