These early attempts at NDT training were well before the advent of some qualification programs.Companies, again mainly manufacturers of NDT equipment, began offering courses, generally with emphasis on the methods utilizing their equipment. Of course it is now essential that the training should be focused on the body of knowledge in addition to the equipment operation.There are numerous and varied NDT courses in chennai training centre programs offered today. Space limitations do not permit them all to be included here, but a good source of the many training organizations are offered in south india.Conventional methods are techniques that have matured over the course of decades and in this time, have become well-documented in codes, standards, and best practices. The setup and procedure of a conventional technique is typically simpler in comparison to advanced methods.Advanced methods tend to be less understood as they progress as emerging technologies.Overall, NDT offers many advantages compared to destructive testing. The testing equipment is often portable and can be performed numerous times on a single component.
