Simplify Diwali mithai shopping- Order online
So, Diwali is right around the corner. You have at least a hundred people to send sweets to. If you spend time running from one sweet shop to another to get the best bargain, you are likely to have these ready until next year.
Is there an easy way to this? Can you avoid wasting all that time tasting and trying sweets and comparing the best prices? How much time do you save?
Well, of course, there is no magic wand that is going to wipe out all your problems and provide you with boxes full of Diwali mithais at the cheapest rates but we do have something called as the internet and it has its ways, slightly longer than muttering ‘Kaboom’ but yes, the results will be the same, almost.
All you have to do is log on to the internet, look out for directories or even Google the sweets you want to buy with your area and you will be surprised to see how many of your local nukkad stores sell stuff online. So much that they have their sites optimized for your exact searches. IT is very rare that you have a website that does not try to get itself listed for the relevant searches.
For instance, in Mumbai, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount I could save by shopping online versus physically going to each of these places. Well, yes, you cannot taste the product but then there are plenty of sites that provide reviews to most of the products you have been looking for. Also, the amount of details, some also mention the size of each piece, packet, box, and color, everything you need is very accurately described.
Honestly, buying sweets makes me sick, especially during Diwali. The crowd and the smell of the sweets in all the shops are overwhelming. This is perfect for someone like me who barely has anytime to invest into trying and buying sweets.
You might wonder how well the delivery mechanism is and if all products are displayed on the estores. Well, to be honest, I am not sure. I checked out some cake shops in Lokhandwala Andheri west and I and tested their websites and most of their products were online. I am saying cake shops when referring to sweet shops is because many cake shops in Mumbai double as sweet shops during the festival season and no they taste as good if not better than the commercial ones. Their delivery is simple, they might levy a nominal amount for the home delivery convenience but you are well served!
