Michael LeRoy – Founding Partner of Fulmer LeRoy & Albee, PLLC
Michael LeRoy is one of the three founding partners of Fulmer LeRoy & Albee, PLLC and is the managing partner of the firm. He manages the firm from its office in Orlando. Fulmer LeRoy & Albee, PLLC is a Florida based law firm that specializes in civil trial defense. The firm has offices in Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, and Tampa. It was established in 2007 and provides services in the defense of Premises Liability Claims, Construction Defect and Construction Related Claims, Product’s Liability Claims, Workers’ Compensation, Automobile and Transportation Claims, Complex Tort Claims, Wrongful Death Claims, and Medical Malpractice.
The firm has a combined 125 years of experience in the legal field, which includes over 20 years of trial experience from Michael LeRoy. He specializes in Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Transportation Law, Construction Law, Medical Malpractice, Product Liability, and Maritime Law. He has been with the firm for almost nine years and is committed to overseeing its continuing growth and success in Florida.
Fulmer LeRoy & Albee, PLLC is a member of one of the few crane programs and provides representation for disastrous accidents on construction sites that involve complex factual and legal issues. They also run an emergency response program for three of the largest insurers of Transportation Casualty Claims in the nation. They have a 24-hour on call availability in response to a crisis.
Before he moved to Orlando, Michael LeRoy grew up in Independence, Missouri. He attended the University of Nebraska from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1989. While he was a student at the University of Nebraska, he was active in Golden Key and was a Regent's Scholarship Winner. In 1993, he graduated with honors and received his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law. While he was a Florida State, he served as the Articles and Notes Editor for the Florida State University Journal of Land Use & Environmental Law.
After law school and before he moved to Orlando, Michael LeRoy served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Sixteenth Circuit in Kansas City Missouri. He served as an Assistant State Attorney from 1993 to 1995. He is currently a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Nebraska State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is permitted to practice in Nebraska and Florida as well as the U.S. Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida, Florida, and the U.S. Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida, Florida.
