A glance at the way we all have developed and grown from being a new born to now would leave us in awe of the nature and how beautifully it works. From the time to the time babies hit the walking milestone, their feet grows. When choosing baby shoes, it is also essential to keep in mind the time of the year since buying a winter shoe for summer would leave the baby’s feet too suffocated and warm. Before buying the baby boy shoes, it would be very beneficial to know and understand a few aspects. Once babies start walking, it is best to allow the babies walk barefoot so the child can get a good grip while walking and there is absolutely no unnecessary interference when the baby would be walking. Hard shoes are a strict no no for the babies, since they can hinder the natural development of the baby’s feet.

Instead of choosing any infant boy shoes, the parents can just choose from a variety of shoes to ensure that the baby’s feet are warm. When the toddler gets a hang of walking, it is advisable to buy a soft shoe with flexible and bending soles, to protect the feet of the baby from any sharp objects. It is also important to ensure that the shoe is skid proof so the child does not fall and get injured on very smooth floor surfaces. But the initial days of walking would be best if the child is allowed to walk barefoot which would develop a proper coordination in the child’s feet and in order to build strength. It is important to give the toes enough space in the front part of the shoes, so the baby’s toes do not get suffocated and the development of the feet is healthy. Measuring the feet of the baby properly or trying on the shoes is important to make sure that the shoe is of the correct fit and is not too loose or tight. It is best to choose shoes with Velcro than laces, so as to avoid the baby from falling while walking or being injured.

It is important to measure the feet of the baby every now and then to make sure that the baby is not outgrowing his shoe size. The soles would have to be soft and bendable. Shoes for boys come in different styles including baby boy sneakers, formal shoes, slip-ons, flip flops, floaters etc. There should be a thumb’s gap between the front part of the shoe and the toes of the baby, so there is enough room for the baby to wiggle and move his toes.
