Renato Ravanelli's professional profileBorn in 1965, Renato Ravanelli graduates in Economics studying at Cattolica del Sacro Cuore Universtity, in Milan. His career debuts in the academic field, mainly dealing with matters related to insurances and utilities. During the following four year, he works as a macroeconomist and financial analyst by two of the most important financial institutions. He afterwards becomes CFO, being responsible for energy and gas trading as well as strategies director for AEM Group. In 2005 he enters Edison, where he works as CFO and executive member of the administration board until 2007. The following year he gets appointed as executive member of the Managing Board, as well as Managing Director of A2A, the major Italian company operating in energy and gas and environmental field, managing dispatching nets of energy carriers. He maintains this role until 2014, when he gets appointed as CEO of F2i - Fondi italiani per le infrastrutture. Furthermore, starting 2010 Renato Ravanelli is part of Inframed Investment Committee, fund that deals with resources destined to territories of North Africa and Turkey, as an independent member.
