Steps To Repair A Broken Screen Of Tablet

This is usually seen that our vulnerable tablet screen got accidental damage by dropping on the floor. The chances of getting damage increases if you are continuously using it. But, repairing of the broken tablet screen become quite reasonable and simple, if you know the repairing steps of the tablet.

Before starting the broken tablet screen repair, you should be more familiar with the designing of the tablet. All tablets contain components such as the back cover, LCD, LCD-containing chassis, motherboard-containing frame, front frame and a touch-sensitive glass. Furthermore, you need a tool kit that contains multiple tools for the broken tablet screen repair. These tools include various small screwdrivers, tweezers, heat gun, canned air, and much more. The Proper working place is required as the tiny components of tablet must not be lost and you can work in a place with full concentration.

Now, you have to perform these 3 steps:-

a) Deassemble the tablet parts:-

  1. After removing the battery and back cover of the tablet, Loose the stuck-on cables or you can remove the cables that is now exposed.
  2. After this, unscrew the motherboard-containing back frame and LCD-containing chassis. You have to Place all the screws at a safe place.
  3. Carefully and gently separate the back frame and chassis. For this, sometimes you have to remove the hidden cables that connect frame and chassis with each other.
  4. Then, remove the LCD-containing chassis from the front frame with the help of screwdrivers. While doing this be careful that you don't touch the LCD face.
  5. now, finally you have to Separate the broken glass from front frame by applying heat pressure that produce with the help heat gun on it.

b) Replacing the broken screen:-

  1. Apply two-sided tape on the areas of front frame but don't overlay on the visual part of the glass.
  2. Reattach it with foam or any padding material.
  3. Connect the touch-sensitive cable. After that, Attach the new touch-sensitive glass with front frame and apply gentle pressure on it.
  4. After all this, remove the dust particles form your new shiner glass screen of the tablet. Take care that you don't touch the glass as the fingerprints can't be removed from the latest screen of your tablet after reassembling of the components.

c) Reassemble of all tablet components:-

Now, reassemble all the cables and parts of the tablet in their order. For easy reassembling of components, you can click photographs while deassembling them.

By this, you can yourself repair the broken screen of your tablet. But, be careful while doing this as a little mismanage of tablet components can create a severe damage to your tablet.
