Author: Stella Ethan

Writing something can be really tedious if you are not someone who’s creative and knows how to move the pen with a paper placed beneath it. As much practice as we might do during our times at school, when it comes to the complex essay assignments in college that are intriguing to say the least, then we can’t really walk out of the classroom with a smile on our faces. The sad reality is that we have to get the assignments that are assigned to us, done somehow if we want to score good in the exams and that’s the major motivation.

The problem is not that students can’t write an assignment; the problem is that they fail to find the time and energy to do so because the assignments are normally too long and often too tedious to even look at. What we want is an easy way out; some tricks that can really help us in finishing our assignment on time and with perfection. This is not possible unless you are good with vocabulary and possess the energy needed to focus on something. So, if you are somebody who are not good even in those departments, then don’t read ahead. For the rest of the majority of the people, read on and see how you can tackle your essay assignment in the easiest and the fastest way possible:

i) Focus on the topic:

The topic needs to be read multiple times to say the least. This will sound tedious, but listen, if you don’t spend a few minutes in the beginning, then you will have to spend a lot more later on. Therefore, maintain your focus on the topic for a few hours or minutes so that you know what you want your essay to look like at the end.

ii) Brainstorm endlessly:

Think and brainstorm until you are entirely sure that whatever you could think has been thought and now you are ready to write. Brainstorming will surely save you a lot of time and effort. This practice is done by the best of the writers out there, so it is better to implement it yourself too!

iii) Write:

Write like no one is watching. You need to tell yourself that it’s not a double major exam, but merely a 1000 word long essay assignment. Write from your heart and don’t let any other thought near your mind. Taking this initiative would be the right thing to do at this point in time as you will be putting pen to paper when it should rightly be done.

iv) Revise:

Revise once you think that substantial information has been put to paper. Revision again might sound tedious to you, but if you intend to make your essay assignment stand out and be graded nothing less than an "A" then you need to revise at the end and make sure there are no mistakes present. Having a flawless essay will also let the professor grade you with a flawless score on your mark sheet. Make sure that you proofread it carefully before submission.
