When you don't have much time and travelling to Coorg for a fun-filled weekend. Then with a little compromise, you can visit the famous places of Coorg. Start your journey right after the breakfast. Head to the famous Dubare Elephant camp. It is a good spot to spot the jumbos of South India. Dubare Elephant camp is one of the well-known elephant reserves in the country. If you are a wildlife lover then this place is ideal for you. After this choose Brahmagiri Hills as your next destination. A picturesque spot of Coorg, Brahmagiri Hill offers a spectacular view of the surroundings and also a good encounter with the rich variety of flora and fauna. Amidst the natural beauty, you can plan a picnic with family and friends. Even, children enjoy the atmosphere here. Big eateries are not available here, however, dhabas dominates the region. They serve with a wholesome and tasty meal. But a feast in the Brahmagiri Hill is a memory to cherish forever. Located atop the hill is the Talacauvery, which is considered to be the origin of the river Kaveri. In the afternoon, beautiful Abbey Falls awaits you. and enjoy a pleasant ride to the city. The route map goes like Mangalore> Puttur> Jalsoor> Coorg. ATMS and Petrol pumps are available at regular interval. The approximate cost of the taxi is between Rs 7 to Rs 14 per kilometres.
