The sport of Polo is older and testifies an inspirational relation between the humans and the horses. The special bonding between the man and the beast and the great blending of athletic talents in between the rider and the horse helped the game of Polo to evolve as the ‘King of Games’. The origin can be traced back to the Central Asia Mounted Nomads who played the version of Polo as the part training for the war preparation and the part sport.

However, the modern game of Polo took birth in the Manipur and from the Indian subcontinent it spread as swiftly as the enthusiasts could travel. Large groups of men were seen astriding the small ponies that were seen trotting on the 7th of November, Saturday, 2015 in the Jaipur Polo Grounds.

Eminent personalities, celebrities attended the sporting event to showcase their love for the game. Small, hunter type horses could be seen trotting the ground all the while. The skilled riders like Naveen Jindal, Ms. Simran Shergil, and Mr. Pratap Singh Kanota seemed to have the perfect sense of team coordination, leadership and they appeared strategic. Harshavardhan Reddy is also known as Harsha HVR hosted the HVR Cup on the 7th of November which has become a memorable day in the history of Polo Games.

The great finale of the Polo Tournament Cup was played by Sona Polo and the team Jindal Panther. The key players in the Jindal Panthers including Naveen Jindal and and Mr. Pratap Singh Kanopa showed immense skills in Polo. The team Sona Polo, comprising of Mr. Salim Azmi, Mr. Sunjay Kapoor, were nothing less. In the Equestrian Sport of Polo, the Jindal Panthers conquered the Sona Polo team.

The ball being hit extremely hard by Neveen Jindal came back at the speed of around 105 miles per hour which was jet fast. The ball seemed to have been disappeared in the air while the Sona Polo players stayed at the gallop and amazingly got the polo pony much in line with the ball. The ball was however passed on ahead to the teammates and was carried down the field to attempt a goal. The Jindal Panthers displayed strength by controlling the pony, hitting the ball and doing everything to protect it from the opponents, just like as it was a hot potato.

The Sona Polo, on the other hand, had their eyes on accuracy with minimal movement of their own. Staying in line with the ball and the pony, Mr Sunjay Kapoor took the few eyeballs and dropped them at the perimeter of the circle on the Polo field. It was the high goal polo sport which was not internationally televised. The game ended with a successful note where Harshavardhan Delhi, the Duchess and the Princess gave away the cup to the winning team Jindal Panthers.
