This upcoming season of Teen Mom OG might be the most eventful one yet for Catelynn Lowell. She’ll open up for the first time about suffering from depression and anxiety, get to celebrate as her father-in-law, Butch, gets released from jail — and oh yeah, she finally marries her boyfriend Tyler Baltierra after ten years! NBD.

And Wetpaint talked to Cate about all of the above, and of course we also got her to weigh in on the latest tiff between the girls and Farrah Abraham.

Plus, Cate told us exclusively that her hubby has a book in the works that’s "really good." We’re intrigued.

Wetpaint: What will see you and Tyler go through this season?

Catelynn Lowell: There’s a lot going on this season. You’ll get to see a lot of ups, like how Butch’s relationship is going with Tyler [after prison]. And of course Nova and our wedding. And there’s a lot of downs. They showed clips of me having anxiety and panic attacks and that’s something that I struggle with. It’s hard to share and talk about but it needs to be done. All in all it ends up we’re all in a good place.

Was the depression and anxiety worse after you had Nova?

It could’ve been, I don’t know. I’ve struggled with it for years before Nova was even born. I’m still trying to figure it out until this day.

Did the anxiety ever make you question whether or not you should really marry Tyler?

Not at all, but I remember saying that I don’t understand. I’d say ‘I know that you’re the guy I want to be with for the rest of my life’ so I have no worries about that, but I think maybe a part of it was Nova meeting Carly and Carly meeting Nova for the first time. That was scary.

Yes, Brandon, Teresa and Carly were at your wedding! Will we see them otherwise this season?

No, because they like to have Carly’s privacy, which I totally understand. They want her to grow up like a normal kid so they don’t want to show her face on-camera which is totally fine with me as long as I get to have a relationship with her. But you guys will see little snippets of her here and there.

Was the wedding everything you and Ty had envisioned?

OMG, it was absolutely amazing. It was seriously a second though, it went so fast. But it was definitely beautiful and totally a perfect day. It rained the whole week we were up there but that day it was nice and sunny and then it rained the next day. We got lucky (laughs).

Is Butch still living with you since he got out of jail?

He is, yeah. It’s good, he’s like Mr. Fix It. (Laughs). I’ll ask him for help and he’ll start fixing stuff. He’s really easy to be around. He’s cool, I really like him.

What’s his relationship like with your mom, April, since their divorce?

They’re civil. He’s got a new girlfriend and she’s married to a new husband. They’ve gone their separate ways but they have to be civil because Tyler and I are married so they’ll be around each other forever (laughs).

Do you think Maci and Taylor will be next to get married?

I don’t know, I think Amber and Matt will be first. Then it would be Maci and Taylor. Fans want it to happen but hey, you can’t rush these things (laughs).

Speaking of your co-stars, what’s the latest with you guys and Farrah since that Snapchat videohit the internet?

Well it seemed like we were totally cool, and then she went and was saying stuff about us, me personally and other people on Twitter. The thing with Farrah is I don’t really care, we don’t have to be friends or anything, we don’t even talk at all. Fine, whatever. No big deal. But I can be civil and be an adult. The video doesn’t show everything (laughs).

Do you think that you girls and Farrah will ever accept each other and put this feud in the past?

No because I think she likes the drama too much. People are saying that I started it in that video but no, she would say little things in her podcasts and stuff...

Last season you didn’t seem to mind that she returned to the show. Do you still feel that way?

Yeah because we have four different stories. I feel bad for her and for her situation with the things that go on with Derek and Sophia and it breaks my heart, I can’t imagine how it feels. But she’s just mean sometimes, honestly.

Now that you and Tyler are married and have a baby and a house, what’s next?

I guess just be good parents and succeed in the things we want to do and just go from there. Maybe do more appearances and travel, that’s a huge passion, honestly. We want to travel in an RV or something with our kids (laughs).

Is Tyler still pursuing film-making?

Oh my god yeah, he loves that. He writes too. He writes really good, he’s got a book that he’s been writing for a while. It’s really good.

Is it a novel?

It’s not based on a true story but it’s a story about a heroine addict lady and her life and things that go on, it’s actually really good.

Hopefully he’ll release that!

I know, right? I keep telling him!
