Anthony Santa Maria is a Highly Dedicated Artist

Anthony Santa Maria is a well-known artist in the field of painting. From his childhood, he had great interest in drawing and painting, and always learned new and different techniques to polish his skills. He holds Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New York. For his performance at the graduation, he received a scholarship for his post-graduation. Then, he went to The School of The Art Institute of Chicago to pursue his Masters in Fine Arts. While studying, he got an opportunity to work with renowned artists in the city and learnt more skills required for his profession.

He has profound knowledge of shapes, patterns, textures (both visual and physical), symmetry and colors (that blend with each other and the ones that create a good contrast). While creating a piece of art, he focuses on different things including texture, glaze, shadow, contrast, matching colors, blends, drawing, creating forms and more. He continues to learn more and more about the tricks and techniques used by the renowned artists to strengthen his skills. He has attended a number of seminars and workshops related to different forms of painting. Beside this, he has participated in solo and group person exhibitions, where he came out as a winner. He also got a chance to participate in a painting event held at national level and was appreciated for his skills.

Anthony Santa Maria holds specialization in Abstract art which is a style of painting which is spontaneously created by the artist. In his paintings, he uses synthetic resin-based paints called alkyd enamels. For his artwork, he uses hardened brushes, sticks, and even basting syringes as paint applicators. In addition to this, while working on his artwork, he focuses on one-point, two-point, three-point perspectives and other such essential points to make the work look creative and different from others.

Anthony Santa Maria is a member of The Folk Art Society of America and American Society of Artists. Through these societies, he aims at encouraging the students to learn more and more tricks of paintings. He educates and trains them to adopt it as their professional career and become master of their fields. Both ASA and FASA make the arrangements for exhibitions and art shows that promotes the culture of art. A great number of students participate in different events and the best ones are awarded for their skills. He loves interacting with the students who strive to adopt it as a profession.
