Slow Food Ventura County will be rejoicing the grave work of The Livestock Conservancy, with a 5 Breeds Fundraising Meal at the Pedalers Fork located in Calabasas on Tuesday, 2nd of February, 2016 from 6:30 P.M. to 09:30 P.M. You can call to hire a taxi calabasas to get you to the venue where the event will be taking place. The event tickets are available for purchases. Hurry! Buy your tickets before these get exhausted. The general admission tickets are available for just $150.00. You can also book a table for 8 by spending $1000.00. Also, few of you might be interested in booking a table for 4.
You can spend $500.00 and get a table for 4 booked. You will need to be quick in booking the tickets as there are only 82 general, 3 tickets table for 8 and 6 tickets for table for 4 are left. So, we advise you to hurry up with your booking purchases so that you do not miss out on the event. The aim of the Livestock Conservancy's is 'To protect livestock and poultry breeds from extinction'. This is in seamless position with Slow Food's 'Ark of Taste' mission which is to recognize the vanishing foods and food culture - and then 'Eat it to Save it'. At this feast to assist The Livestock Conservancy, Executive Chef Dan Murray will top a group of best chefs from greater LA in this festivity of custom breeds. It will be a 5 course dinner that will be presenting a breed-to-breed taste contrast prior to the meal.
These chefs are Gavin Landsdale (Akasha), Dan Murray (Pedalers Fork), Chris Hollobaugh (Apricot Lane Farm) and (TBA). At 06:30 P.M, there is going to be a head to head savour contrast of every breed, before appetizers. Mulefoot, Red Wattle, Large Black, Tamworth, & Berkshire comprise of the presented pig breeds. At 07:30 P.M will be the the Dinner time. Accolades to the Liberty Ducks, Metzer Farms etc. for the same. We will be celebrating the Slow Meat motto of 'Better. Less'. This will not be any 'pig out'. The Management Chef Dan Murray has taken care of numerous James Beard Celebrity Chef Dinners, and this one will be in James Beard spirit of sophistication.
So, let us ink our calendars with 2nd of February 2016 to be there at Pedalers Fork, 23504 Calabasas Rd, Calabasas, California 91302 by 06:30 P.M. You can get there by your own vehicles. Valet parking has been arranged for you which is straight East of Pedalers. You will be required t pay only $4.00 to park your vehicles. One street parking has also been made available along with numerous other small lot alternatives. If you are not willing to drive your own vehicles and escape the parking hassles, then feel free to book a taxi Pacific Palisades to get you to the event venue. You can get your friends or family along to enjoy the event and can arrange for a taxi Topanga for the transportation purposes.
