Jessica Alba's shoe nightmare in NYC
Jessica Alba had to switch up her shoes because of the New York snow.
The East Coast of America has recently been battered by Storm Jonas, covering much of it in heavy snow. Jessica needed to be in the Big Apple for the Target collaboration with Who What Wear launch night at ArtBeam, but had a change of heart when it came it what footwear she'd be wearing in the city.
"I packed Stuart Weitzman knee-highs in suede," she told US Vogue. "But I got here and was like, ‘There’s no way in hell I’m wearing these boots in the snow!’ Now I have the black leather ones."
One thing's for sure though, the bottom of her jeans won't be getting wet in the snow.

"Oh, yeah, you should tuck your jeans into boots - all day long," she smiled.
For the Target Who What Wear launch Jessica stuck to her signature style; ladylike elegance with a hint of edge. She teamed a blue and yellow floral pencil skirt with a clashing striped T-shirt and leather biker jacket. She accessorised with pointed silver Brian Atwood stilettos and a black clutch.
"Whatever I’m wearing is the girl I’m going to be," she explained.
Jessica knows her style inside and out, and rarely puts a fashion foot wrong. Explaining why she channels the look, the Sin City star points out she doesn't like to play it too safe with her wardrobe.
"(A) blazer is everything," she mused. "But if you do the blouse, the skirt, and the blazer, it can feel so corporate. So I would funk it up with an easy T-shirt."
Away from the red carpet, the mother of two keeps it casual.
"A great pair of jeans - or, like, five," she laughed. "A skinny, a cropped, and a bell trouser shape. That’s a staple. (And you) need a great pump."
