5 Features to Expect From the Subaru Liberty Sedan
Since the discontinuation of the Subaru Liberty Wagon, many drivers have been concerned about their vehicle options. However, the Liberty is still a core model in the Subaru lineup and the sedan variant still has plenty to offer. Here are five things you should expect from the Subaru Liberty Sedan.
Lots of Passenger Space:
Although the Subaru Liberty Wagon did offer plenty of space, the cabin of the sedan should not be overlooked. The Liberty sedan has been designed to provide generous space to accommodate five adults in total comfort. The contemporary cabin delivers an intelligent use of space and offers greater visibility. The interior features soft touch premium materials to emphasise the spacious interior.
Total Comfort:
The Liberty has been engineered to ensure that both you and your passengers enjoy complete comfort. The driver’s seat is both sporty and height adjustable to allow you your optimum driving position. Both the front and rear seats have been improved to offer more comfort while the larger headrests provide improved comfort, safety and ergonomics. The new sedan design has increased the cabin space to offer greater shoulder, head and legroom in the rear. The seats have also been raised to provide improved visibility for rear passengers.
Plenty of Gear and Gadgets:
Like all the Subaru range, the Liberty is packed with the latest gear and gadgets. Standard features in this range include dual zone climate control, push button start, touch screen Infotainment system, Bluetooth pairing, premium audio system and multi information display. This wealth of gear and gadgets ensures that you have all the information and settings you need without compromising your attention on the road ahead. Navigation and incoming call information are placed directly in front of you to increase both safety and convenience, reducing the risk of your attention being diverted.
Plenty of Cargo Space:
One of the main attractions of the Liberty Wagon was that it offered an abundance of cargo space. While the sedan variants do not offer the same volume, they still deliver plenty of room to meet all your cargo needs. With the push of a button, you can unlock and fold down the split rear seats, boosting the boot capacity from a generous 493 litres to over 500 litres. There is also up to a massive 1500 kilograms towing capacity.
5 Star ANCAP Safety:
The Liberty range has been awarded with a 5 Star ANCAP safety rating. The model has a number of safety innovations including Vehicle Dynamics Control. The VDC system provides brake assist, traction control, electronic brakeforce distribution and electronic stability control. The Liberty also features a reverse view camera, the Subaru EyeSight safety system and Intelligent Drive system.
