Academic content

History often includes social, political, cultural and economic blocks that have played a significant role in shaping the past and, to some extent, even the present. For this reason, the tutors at this school do their best to ensure that each of these memorable past events is memorised well, too.

The credit for making the prosaic subject of history interesting goes to none other than the school’s excellent tutors. This college has devised key pedagogies that invite students to see the subject from their own perspectives, and then draw conclusions. The curriculum generally covers Elizabethan period, the events up till World War II and the happenings at the Arab Springs as well.

Additionally, you will be required to write an essay that will be discussed while the Oxbridge style tutorial will take place. The essay will include any historical question that piques your interest. In short, this course has everything that it takes to cultivate the historical curiosity that, this institution believes, remains in the heart of every student.

For this reason, you should sign up for the History Cambridge Summer School course if you want to see history from your own perspective. So enrol in this course at the Cambridge Summer School, and you will be able to make the most of your experience of learning history.
