1. Foods rich in vitamin C
Vitamin C is good for health in general. However, when it comes to teeth, it’s not so. Citrus fruits and juice are rich in vitamin C. Among these foods lemon juice and grape juice are the most acidic, and may damage teeth enamel by eroding it. Research shows that lemon and grape juices cause most damage and orange juice causes the least damage.
2. Candies
Confectioneries such as candies are harmful for your dental health. This is because of the fact your mouth naturally contains streptococcus bacteria. Candies, epically the ones that need to be chewed can remain between the teeth for longer and the bacteria change the sugar into harmful acid. These bacteria and convert the sugar in the foods into acids that causes damage to the enamel.
3. Hard candies
Hard candies do not stick to teeth. But the problem with them is that they take longer to dissolve in the mouth and this helps bacteria to produce acid. Further, these candies contain citric acid which makes it worse. If you bite hard candies hard, it may cause your teeth to chip, which you cannot cured either by brushing or flossing.
4. Soda
It's a known fact that drinking too much soda with sugar can cause dental cavities. Soda is no other than carbonated drinking, and the acid in these drinks is harmful. That is soda that is said to be free from sugar contain citric acid along with phosphoric acid can damage the enamel.
5. Pickles

8. Tea
Black tea contains tannin which stains your teeth. Green tea, herbal tea and white tea contain less tannin and cause less severe damage as they contain less tannin.
9. Crackers (thin biscuits)
These crackers contain refined sugar and change to sugar in the mouth. Thus, they provide food to the harmful bacteria that cause cavities. Crackers also accumulate between teeth.
