DNB PDCET Counselling 2016

Students who have successfully passed the centrally based DNBPCET Entrance Test organized by the NBE in November 2015 and are eligible to for admission to DNB (Post Diploma) courses (January 2016 admission session). It shall be organized at different NBE accredited Medical Colleges/Hospitals in India. They are going to take part in the counselling for distribution of seats based on the merit and choice of the students. Candidate already admitted in any other post graduate medical course such as DNB, MD or MS can only participate if they resign from that course. In case the student has been discharged from the Institution/University from where they were undergoing other PG medical course, Seat allotment letters will be issued to them by NBE only.

Those cadets who have already passed the Centralized Entrance Test for the admission i.e. DNB PD CET (organized by NBE in June 2016) are considered eligible for admission in DNB (Post Diploma) courses. The Final Seat matrix for the allotment of seat will be displayed at the DNB PD CET 2016 counselling venue and on NBE website before the beginning of DNB PD CET 2016 counselling process. Reserved seats will be allotted to only those who belong to the concerned category. For this the aspirants of reserved category have the advantage for allotment whether they take from reserved quota on the basis of category or from the unreserved quota based on their merit. DNB PD CET 2016 Counselling Schedule

Aspirants shall apply for the counseling after qualifying the entrance exam. They can visit the official site of DNB and apply for it. They are also supposed to pay an amount of Rs. 2500/- as counseling fees. You can pay it by demand draft to be drawn in favour of NBI, payable at New Delhi, on the day of counseling. You need to bring the above DD copy with you to the counseling venue or else one would not be allowed to attend the DNB PD CET 2016 counselling. One must note the amount paid as counseling fee is not remittable nor it will be adjusted as a part of tuition fees for the course further.
