Step-2

Creating a Customized plan for you

Before your Invisalign treatment starts they'll first need to collect some information that documents how your teeth and bite are right now.

Your dentist will take x-rays, pictures and impressions of your teeth. From these images your doctor will map out a precise treatment plan, including the exact movements of your teeth and will tell you the approximate length of treatment.

A short scan will be performed on your teeth using an iTero scanner. The scan instantly produces digitized 3D images of your teeth and can even show you a preview of what they might look like on completion of treatment. This computer-generated image will be sent to the Invisalign laboratories for processing.

After reviewing the records your orthodontist will show you the details of your personalized treatment. A short 3D movie will show you a virtual representation of your teeth before, during and after Invisalign, so you can see what your smile is expected to look like at the end.

It’s hard to predict how long you’ll need Invisalign, the timeframe lasts about a year for most patients, but it depends on your unique plan.

Step-3

Get your Customized aligners based on your plan

Depending upon your individual plan, a series of customized, clear aligners are created especially for you. These aligners are made of a smooth, comfortable, BPA- free plastic that won’t irritate your cheeks and gums like other traditional braces do. Simply wear your aligners throughout the day and remove them when you eat or brush and floss your teeth.

As you wear each set of aligners, your teeth gently and gradually begin to shift into place. Aligners you receive is designed to fit where the teeth should end up at the end of those two weeks. So the first few days of each new set is less comfortable. As you adjust and the aligner fits better, you know Invisalign is working!

Step-4

Occasional Checkup

Approximately after every two weeks you’ll need to visit your dentist as a part of treatment. To monitor your progress of invisalign aligners of your previous visit. You’ll also get a new set of aligners every two weeks which are easy to replace yourself.

For best results and a timely outcome, you should wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day, throughout your entire treatment. At every stage, you will be able to see how much closer you are towards having the smile that reflects the real you.

Step-5

Transformation of your smile
