Dr. Steve Ams has Extensive Knowledge and Experience in Various Industry Sectors
Dr. Steve Ams has many years of experience in the medical field. He is a physician, theologian, and entrepreneur whose passion for life, creativity, and knowledge in different industry sectors helped him found the company, Verifinc. He loves inventing, and has successfully created some patents using innovative technologies. Verifinc developed an improved healthcare system under the leadership of Dr. Steve.
He runs GLOBAL PCCA Limited, and formed a collaborative partnership with the management of Federal Medical Centre Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria, to develop and commission a drug compounding center. In addition to the medical field, he has also developed several other industry sector corporations such as in Real Estate Development, Home Care Services, Construction, Software and Manufacturing.
He received his high school education from the famed Government College Keffi, and received the third overall best graduating student award. Then, he went to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, followed by his medical training at the University of Calabar Medical School. He worked for the National Youth Service Corp program as the Medical Director of Ekiadolor Hospital and also for the then Bendel State Government.
Dr. Steve Ams is a creative professional who researches, invests, and develops products that are either available in the market or are market-ready. His product line includes pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and cosmeceuticals that are beneficial in reducing the global morbidity and mortality rates from malaria and other dangerous diseases, especially in Africa. Malavic is one of his manufactured products, and is a NAFDAC registered ACT anti-malarial, that combines Lumefantrine and Artemether.
Steve Ams contributes to several community organizations. He has always loved to train others, and devotes his time and resources to humanitarian efforts and medical missions across the U.S. and overseas. He has worked with various Nigerian villages and cities, and has been involved in administering lifesaving medications to the needy. Additionally, he has also raised funds to donate capital equipment.
In 2000, Dr. Steve Ams and his team at CeeJay, came together with the City Mayor, City leaders, Major Corporations, the US military, and more than 300 mainline churches to a city wide prayer at George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. The event was successful, and resulted in over 5000 jobs being created in one day by corporate partners and five full medical clinics in Houston.
