Each new version of Windows has brought something new in terms of visual appearance and functionality, but quite often people miss the little things that come with each new version of Windows. Speaking of little things, today we.re going to find out what new sounds are offered in Windows 10.

Over the years several things have changed about Windows, and we got improved and simplified design, several new capabilities and with latest versions of Windows we got assistance for touchscreen devices. These are all significant changes that customers will surely notice the initial time they start their Windows, but let.s talk about small, far more subtle changes.

As you know, with every generation of Windows comes new set of sounds, and Windows 10 isn.t an exception, so let.s have a closer look at new sounds in Windows 10.

Sounds are important part of our Windows knowledge, they allow us to easily distinguish notifications, alerts and errors, and they make our Windows experience even more immersive. Just like prior versions of Windows, Windows 10 comes with set of its own exclusive sounds, and if you.ve been following the Windows releases over the years you.ll notice that sounds have become extra melodious. This is maybe not what everybody prefers but Windows 10 is continuing this practice.

You.ll be pleased to hear that Windows 10 comes with 76 new sounds that will play for certain events such as locking or unlocking your Windows 10, email notifications, calendar notification or regular notifications.

As for the sounds, there are sounds for all sorts of notifications from pop-up blocked, notifications, minimization, maximization, proximity connection, proximity notifications, printing completed and countless other functions. Although Windows 10 is the latest operating technique from Microsoft we can.t help but notice that some attributes from prior versions are absent. One of these characteristics are Jump lists, and if you.re missing this feature we.re going to show you how to enable Jump lists in Start Menu in Windows 10.

Jump lists were very first introduced in cheap software online and they allowed you to determine recent documents or to access certain capabilities from apps that are pinned to your taskbar or to your Start Menu. For example, if you have text editor pinned to your taskbar you can see recent files simply by suitable clicking its icon around the taskbar.

Jump lists work the same way for Start Menu apps, and if the app has assistance for Jump lists it will have a small arrow next to it, and by hovering your mouse over it you can reveal your recent documents or certain attributes. As you can see, this was 1 quite useful function, and it.s shame to see that Jump lists aren.t working inside the Start Menu on Windows 10, but there.s a way to repair that.
