XAT 2017 Is Ready With A Googly
Xavier Aptitude Test is national-level Offline entrance exam. XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test). It is organized by all Xavier School of Management, Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) - Jamshedpur.
Xat 2017will take place on January 8, 2017, from 10 am to 1:30 pm. Registrations for the was same opened on 17 August and will continue until 30 November 30, 2016. Candidates can apply until December 11, 2016, with the late fee.
XLRI offers a two-year degree in management programs: Human Resource Management (HRM), Business Management Programme (BM), and Global MBA Programme. Last year, XAT committee announced a few significant test pattern changes on the official website:
In the XAT EXAM the question paper (Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Data Interpretation sections). The total number of questions in XAT Exam were brought down to 78.
Candidates will have a very odd time of 170 minutes to answer the main question paper, but it is due to increase in exam timing by 20 min. Before this, the total time for the objective exam was 150 minutes.
XAT Exam has a tricky part as well which no another exam in the category has i.e., they give 13 question to the student which they can leave, and after that, any question they leave will cost negative marking of 0.05 marks per question and 0.25 for every wrong answer that candidate give. The idea behind is to encourage students to do well and attempt as many as questions. In XAT 2017 no of questions in GK section has been reduced to 25. However, the time to answer GK and Essay section remains same – 35 minutes.
To register for XAT 2017, candidates needs to visit the official website and register by creating a new account. Application fee of XAT 2017 costs Rs 1600 and 300 per XLRI course, application after 30th November will face a penalty of Rs 200 on form and as well as on the choice of every college. Payment of the fee can be made by all three modes of transaction: - Cash, Debit Card, & Demand Draft.
